Unified Dress Code Policy

The first requirement of a good school is a safe and secure learning environment. Young adults who are disciplined and protected, who learn the fundamentals of good citizenship, are better students. In response to increasing levels of violence throughout the nation, many parents, teachers, and school officials have seen a unified dress code as a positive way to decrease discipline problems and increase safety.

It is well documented that the adoption of a Unified Dress Code policy promotes school safety, improves discipline and enhances the learning environment. A unified dress code helps school officials recognize intruders who come to the school, helps students concentrate on their schoolwork, and instills students with discipline.

Falcon Cove Middle School parents voted for the unified dress code. The unified dress code has made a positive difference in the overall learning environment at Falcon Cove.

We’ve been fortunate that Falcon Cove parents have supported our Unified Dress Code. Your support has demonstrated that you understand that the Unified Dress Code policy was created to strengthen school security and focus attention on academics.
