One of the largest and most anticipated events in Western Broward County, the annual Rick Case's President's Fest In The Park, is back for its 16th year.
Rick Case's Presidents' Fest In The Park was established in 1993 by a small group of Weston residents who wanted to develop a family oriented community celebration for area families to enjoy. Since that time, the event has grown to one of West Broward's most anticipated events. This year, the event is again undergoing a large expansion highlighted by the return of one of the oldest and largest carnival companies in the country.
Thanks to the generous support of our corporate sponsors, 1,500 foster and disadvantaged children will be treated to lunch and unlimited free rides compliments of Reithoffer Shows. Plus, there is no admission charge to the festival or to any of the shows. Rick Case's Presidents' Fest In The Park is proud and excited to partner with the City of Weston and the Weston University program to provide each of the 21 students with one-day trip to Tallahassee. Weston University was created to provide a unique educational and personal experience for high school students through open communication with government officials and city departments. Students effectively participate in the City Commission simulation after having gained knowledge throughout the program, in order to present and defend both sides of the agenda issues. In Tallahassee, the students will see the legislature in action, meet cabinet officers, and hopefully, the Governor.
