Weston Business Chamber Announces Plans for 2007 A Taste of Weston Presented by the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Conference Center & Spa

The Weston Business Chamber has set a date for the 2007 “A Taste of Weston Presented by The Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Conference Center & Spa.” The popular event takes place on Wednesday, August 29th from 5:30 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. at the resort located at 250 Racquet Club Road. More than 600 people are expected to attend.

A Taste of Weston is an opportunity for local restaurants and caterers to showcase their top dishes to the public. Event Chairperson Jennifer McCloskey said she expects more than 30 food vendors to participate. “We did a little rearranging this year and made room for more vendors than we have had in the past,” said McCloskey. “That means more for people to enjoy.”

A Taste of Weston is the signature event of the Weston Business Chamber, a Council of the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce. Weston Business Chamber Chair Fred Burgess said, “We look forward to putting on A Taste of Weston each year and we know the residents of Weston look forward to attending. It’s an ideal way for local restaurants to connect with their loyal patrons while at the same time introduce themselves to potential new customers.”

Besides the Hyatt Regency Bonaventure Conference Center & Spa, other top sponsors include Rick Case Automotive Group and Mercedes-Benz of Pembroke Pines, as well as Libations and The Grape Merchant, both of which will be provide wine and spirits for the evening. Advanced Cable is a media sponsor. Besides food and drink, guests will be treated to live musical entertainment.

Tickets are $45 if purchased in advance or $55 at the door. A portion of the proceeds from the event benefits a local charity.

A Taste of Weston The event started five years ago to kick off formation of the Weston Business Chamber, an organization that offers networking and marketing opportunities to companies that have an interest in conducting business in the Weston area.
