The Dan Marino Foundation has teamed up with Libation - The Joy of Wine, for the First Annual Dan Marino Wine & Food Festival to be held Sunday, April 22nd at the Waterway Shoppes II. The event will feature more than 400 wines from around the world, live music, food from local restaurants, a children's activity center, and live cooking demonstrations.

The Dan Marino Foundation was founded by sports legend Dan Marino and his wife, Claire, in 1992. To date, the Foundation has funded more than $5 million dollars supporting medical treatments, outreach services/programs and disease research for children with chronic illnesses and developmental disabilities. The Dan Marino Foundation partnered with Miami Children's Hospital and in 1998, opened the Dan Marino Center in Weston. The free-standing pediatric hospital is recognized nationally and internationally for its unique, interdisciplinary care.
